The Packaged Liquor Board is seeking an additional board member. This board regulates the selling, storing for sale, distributing for sale and manufacturing of retail sales of packaged liquor within the corporate limits of the Town of Smyrna.
The Rutherford County Library System is looking to fill two Board Member positions with Smyrna residents. The Board of Directors typically meets on the third Monday of each month at 5pm with the exception of January and February when it meets on the third Tuesday due to the holiday schedule.
Join us on the water as we launch from Volunteer Park. Boats, PFD’s, and paddles provided; sunscreen and bug spray recommended; bring a bottle of water and clothes that can get wet. Ages 12 and up only, please.
The April Board of Zoning Appeals meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 10th at 5:00pm at City Hall.

The Town of Smyrna is beginning to update its Comprehensive Plan which was written in 2007. This Plan will lead Smyrna into the future regarding land use, economic development and the provision of Town services such as public safety and utility infrastructure.
Smyrna Parks and Recreation is excited to announce that construction on the Jefferson Springs Greenway Extension has begun! Beginning Monday, April 23rd, portions of the disc golf course and Sharp Springs Park will be closed for greenway construction.
