  • Independence Day Celebration Independence Day Celebration

    This year's Independence Day Celebration on July 1st is dedicated to the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and Marine Captain Jeff Kuss for his service and sacrifice. The first 2,000 people in attendance will receive a memorial pin. The community will also be able to donate to the Jeff Kuss Memorial Fund which will go towards the future memorial to honor Captain Kuss.

  • Request from U.S. Navy: Plane Crash Items

    The U.S. Navy is asking citizens who find items of the F/A-18 Hornet that crashed on Thursday June 2nd to please contact the Smyrna Police Department at (615) 459-6644. An authorized investigator would then remove the items from the site which could then be used in the investigation of the crash. The U.S. Navy and the Town of Smyrna appreciate your assistance in this matter.
